Subaru Driver and CNY Shopping III

Drove a Subaru TS on Wednesday. Dearie managed to rent it cheaply, and i mean very cheaply. Almost half of the market rate. But ended up, we still spend quite alot of money, on petrol, parking fees and cashcard of course.

Driving skills certainly improved, even my parking skills as well. However, the car was kind of weak. The picking up was poor, and so was its acceleration. It's only a 2-3 years old car, yet its performance has already dipped greatly. I can't imagine how a car can survive 10 year of its shelf life.

Nice drive through. Not easy for me to rent a car so of course with this chance, i went around several places. Aljunied for supper with Ah Bear.

Next day was CNY shopping @ Chinatown. Specially took half day leave to roam around Chinatown, get the atmosphere of the CNY mood. I'm targeting lots of goodies of course. What's CNY without food. Results of my buy:

- Peanuts cookies
- Love letters (one big container, one small container)
- Yam cookies (3 in total)
- Peanut puffs
- Sweets (lots and lots of them)
- 2 cartons of drinks

I'm beginning to feel like a child again, feeling so happy over CNY goodies. I forgotton about the Bah Gua. Wanted to buy 'Ling Zhi Yuan' but the queue was sooo long, i gave up. However, i'm going there to queue next Wednesday!
