Boredom Kills?

Do you always feel bored? Can boredom kill you? Or can you kill boredom instead?

I personally dread boredom, but I feel it's inevitable it happens at any point of our life. Does lonesome equate to boredom? Sometimes, we associate the involvement of a certain lifestyle altering periods where one is suddenly left to get accustomed to a completely new way of lifestyle, be it temporary or permenant. However, turning the table around, we could replace those missing 'links' with something else.

Ask yourself, what do you do when you are bored? Some will just dread and whine and dwell hardly on the fact that boredom is killing them. Whereas some will simply just let it occupy the time as the clock ticks away. Some will then choose to occupy themselves with something else to kill boredom away. Which do you belong to?

Boredom is a form of mental fatigue which is unlike physical fatigue, and boredom can actually drive some people to depression.

Boredom and lack of activity in a person's life can lead to depression. Thus, being bored and depressed are closely linked and if one is not careful, one can slip into depression without realizing it. Therefore, it is important for to learn to cope with such sudden or drastic changes in lifestyle by keeping oneself occupied as much as possible.

Boredom is a state of mind. stimulating your mind in this case will ensure all boredom disappears and make good use of all the energy that is lying unutilized within the human body. Thus, as long as one is occupied both physically and mentally, there would be little scope for boredom.

It's not how it deal with you...it's how you deal with it...

What's Real Courage?

I don't really have an explanation or definition of what real courage is. But while watching '127 Hours', a movie that potrays how a mountaineer overcomes nearly the impossible to free himself, and eventually getting himself rescued, the two words 'real courage' was all that was on my mind.

It's dubbed a story of Man Vs Nature, yet the pieces behind that left a real impossible mission. Determination overcomes desperation. Strong willed mind replaces negativity. How a man who nearly faced death turned into a high prolific speaker who earns general a 5-digit sum per session of speech. Impressive mind I would say who even continued his mountain climbing adventure even till today.

Someone once said, "A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly."

But I supposed when it comes to facing the nature, none of the above paragraph would works, yet it is the versatility of being able to do the above mentioned while gaining much known knowledge that can keep this man alive. No denying how knowing more can eventually raise the chances of living when it comes to situation like the above, in a literal no man's land.

If being strong willed ends there and then, from the moment one of his hand leaves him, that's impressive. What about the life after that which to me, probably amounts to an even more impressive story altogether.

Life is vulnerable, but not our heart and mind. Agree?
