AVP 2 and Le Grand Chef

Alien VS Predator

Finally caught the much anticipated Alien VS Predator 2. I still can't get over the thoughts and fantasy of this Alien VS Predator when i was still a child. I could still clearly remember how i started falling in love with them when i started playing their game during then, my favourite place - arcade. In the game, you get to choose between human being and predator, going around to kill aliens of course.

The first AVP shown in theater fascinated me. Althought review brought them down greatly, i thought otherwise. That's what keeping me so eagerly anticipating for AVP2.

Story plot was nice, quite different from the first part although it's a sequel to the first series. However, i thought that scenes were cocnentrated too much on the human beings rather than what's was being intended - the Aliens and the Predator. Disappointing part also include the lack of predator. Throughout the whole movie, there's only one predator around. And also, the movie wasn't being potrayed like my old school arcade game whereby there are two types of predator around killing those tons of aliens - the Hunter and the Guardian. Worse of all, the ending was bad, totally off the whole concept of Alien VS Predator. It's as though the script-writer has no idea as to how to end the movie and just use the 'one shot kill all' idea to end the whole movie.

I'm still however hopeful for a third part of Alien Vs Predator., and it will become my dream AVP Trilogy.Hmm...not bad isn't it...

Le Grand Chef

It's been so long since i last watched a movie so touching that i'm actually so touched that i almost cried. It's not any movie like love or whatsoever. It potray very well how human feelings are being developed and evoked, how this very chef would sacrifice not because he want to prove other he can win, but to prove he learnt what's he taught and do what he think is right.

The intention of watching Le Grand Chef was impromptu. But i'm glad i watch it. By watching the trailer or preview, one wouldn't have thought it would be a touching movie, instead, the perception of a person seeing the poster alone would have this immediate thought of it being a comedy instead.

This movie compromises of funny, touching and exciting scenes. I simply love this movie and i give it a 5/5.
